The Partnership For Transportation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, based in Montgomery County, PA.
We are dedicated to advancing accessible, affordable, safe, and sustainable transportation solutions.
Our innovative programs and services promote multi-modal transportation options: buses, trains, cycling, walking and ride sharing.
Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we strive to increase connectivity, improve community health, support business development, reduce carbon emissions and decrease air pollution.
Serving residents, employers, commuters, municipalities and community-based organizations since 1993, the Partnership For Transportation is uniquely positioned to navigate the complex challenges associated with transportation within Montgomery County and advance solutions.
When our nonprofit was incorporated in 1993, its legal entity name was registered as Greater North Penn Area Transportation Management Association. In 1997, it adopted a new name, the Partnership TMA of Montgomery County. In 2024, we completed a Strategic Plan and followed the recommendation to rebrand as the Partnership For Transportation.
