Experience the future Liberty Bell Trail! Join Partnership For Transportation, Bike North Penn, and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia for a guided, community-oriented ride from Lansdale Freight House to the Trail Junction Center in Norristown.
The approximately 13-mile, one-way route combines local roads and paved trails, with stops at Parkside Place Park, Sunny Brook Park, and Norristown Farm Park. Along the way, learn how this proposed 25-mile trail will connect communities from Telford to Norristown and the growing Circuit Trails network.
This is a no-drop group ride, with ride leaders setting a manageable pace and regrouping as needed. Participants should be comfortable riding on local streets alongside traffic.
Start: Lansdale Freight House, 111 S Broad St, Lansdale, PA 19446
Finish: Trail Junction Center, 75 E Lafayette St, Norristown, PA 19401
Registration and properly fitted helmets are required. Bring a bicycle in good working order, water, and a snack. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants are responsible for their return arrangements; riding back makes the trip approximately 26 miles.
